Duet with Tanwi
Tanwi (Tania Shukrana) posted this photo. She accepts the title for it from her friend, our friend, Monir (Mohammad Moniruzzaman) - The canopy of scattered dreams. The picture with this title made me feel like jolted with a lightning. I felt like I am that girl – with shattered dreams. I wrote the following poem in my comment.
The Canopy of Shattered Dreams
The canopy of scattered dreams - that
Shines so shamelessly, never asking – why.
The canopy of scattered dreams - that
Fakes the flickering lights of joy – oh my!
The canopy of scattered dreams - does embrace
All the glory of being there, just to be, just to be.
Forgetting the frozen tears, on a nameless face
So poised to glisten tonight just to be there, just to be.
